Self Catering Apartment in the Shetland Islands Visit Shetland to get away... Stay with us to feel at home. We bought The Decca in 2003, (two years after we became self catering hosts, in Corbie), and embarked on a wonderful journey of hosting many, many, many... wonderful guests, from all across the world. In October 2023 we decided the time had come, to be the travellers – both within our beautiful islands, and into the way beyond. To this end we have sold The Decca, and it is no longer available for short term let, in its new incarnation. We do still have our Mother-Apartment – Corbie. Corbie has just undergone a redecoration in readiness to be our stand alone apartment for short term let. Nothing has changed with regard to our dedication to offering excellent customer care, attention, and facilities for you our guests. Indeed as we have made this major gear shift, we maintained 9.5 level ratings in Booking.com and have been awarded Superhost in Airbnb many times, including 3 times this year. Comments consistently stating how clean our apartments are and how well equipped they were. Corbie still maintains this standard and shall continue to do so. As we have made this decision, we have also opted to offer Direct Bookings only. You will see many accommodation providers state that direct rates are best - this is true. The other thing that is so much better is direct communication and accurate information between you the guest, and us the host.
