Tom McAllister and his team did a lovely job on our bathroom - the finish is excellent. They were all totally professional and trustworthy and worked really hard to complete the job to hit the agreed deadline. They also worked well to resolve some unforeseen difficulties and adapted the job and the spec where necessary to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. All in all a great job. Most impressive of all was the respect and courtesy they showed to us - they showed awareness of the challenge it can be living with building work on the go and they tried to minimise the disruption where they could. "We hired Chris and his team to build a double storey extension for our home which included some quite difficult internal work including the dismantling of some walls, the relocation of a bathroom and the shoring up of a new doorway to create an ensuite for a bedroom. Not only was the project completed within the timescales agreed but also within budget. Whenever something needed amending or a problem solving Chris and his team stepped up and solved the issue. They also did it with an unerring good humour and much tolerance for our ever changing ideas and additions. We recently decided our lounge needed a makeover and as part of that we wanted a large display cabinet to fit into an alcove. As we couldn’t find one at the dimensions we needed we looked for somebody who could build one for us – and found Mathew. He came and worked through the design with us and then, once agreed, he kept in touch every step of the way as he built it and prior to installation. Mathew’s workmanship and attention to detail are second to none and we are very pleased with the result. Since building the cabinet he has competed a few further small refurbishment jobs around the house, again to a high standard.We would certainly recommend Mathew to anyone wanting a bespoke joiner/carpenter or for any other work in that field.

I am writing to tell you what a beautiful job you have done on turning the lower steps of my stair case. As an end terraced house, with limited space, these original steps jutted out into the hallway looking ugly and completely out of place. I had been told by other tradesmen that to turn these offending steps into an aesthetically pleasing curve was not possible. When you came to assess the job, I remember being struck by your capacity to listen to what I wanted to achieve. How you built this masterpiece from a set of measurements and a diagram is amazing, it's perfect ! The attention to detail is evident in every way. I particularly like the finishing touches, the way the rounded beading edge slopes down, following the curve of the stair case to the bottom step and the angle of the steps which fan out forming the basic shape - superb craftsmanship; you are truly an artist.I highly recommend your work as a Carpenter and Bespoke Joiner.
