I came across Sam by accident but he was a real find! He built and fitted a bespoke kitchen sink unit and replaced a small porch roof for me. Reference for Peter Strachan and Abacus: We initially called Peter in to service our boiler in Autumn 2014. He was friendly and mentioned that his company did other aspects of building work such as kitchens. As we were looking to have work done on our kitchen we showed him what we were looking at doing. The next week he came out with Tony (who seems to do most of the joinery and masonry work), to price up removal and support of a chimney breast with an RSJ, removal of a dwarf wall, and installation of kitchen units and worktops, moving of a sink and radiators etc.

After many years of tenant and landlord neglect, it was clear that a major re-design and build was required in all internal areas of the property. To say the project was a large and challenging one was an understatement and, in fact organisations had failed to quote for the project as it was viewed as too ambitious for the budget and the timescales defined by myself and my partner Rachel. No such problem for Matt! The quote for a total refurbishment of the interior of the property was competitive and Matt assured us, under his Project Management, he and his team could complete the works within 8 weeks. At this stage, I have to admit to being a little sceptical that this could be achieved in the time allocated, especially given the enormity of the project.
