Mirek is a highly skilled bathroom/kitchen fitter, plumber, electrician and plasterer. He is a real perfectionist as well as a really nice guy and did a fantastic job fitting out a new bathroom for me - many thanks Mirek!

We have used Mirek since he was recommended to us by a happy neighbour and we can see why, as he has always been so helpful, punctual, willing and able to turn his hand to everything we've asked him to do in our kitchen and shower room. In the latter case he was redoing other less good work by the original fitters, as they gave up trying!

It's actually taken a few months to write this review as I couldn't quite find the words to say how wonderful this company is. Root built a 3m x 8m kitchen extension with bifold doors on the back of our house earlier this year and it's utterly stunning. They employ friendly, hardworking people who were fantastic with our little boy. The work was completed quickly and they were able to start exactly when we wanted them to. They knew our budget and helped us to plan a room we would love but without pushing ourselves too far financially. They worked very long days, starting before I even woke up and frequently working until they ran out of light. These guys worked through snow and rain to build us an absolutely amazing space. They totally transformed our house. Unfortunately we had a not pleasant experience with some plumbers during the works, but Sam and Michael were able to help us rectify this. I found myself quite sad on their last day, the house is stunning but they were all so lovely it was fun having them around. We have a few snagging bits (totally expected) and I'm really looking forward to seeing them again. For some reason they only employ people called Steve or Laurence, which makes remembering everyone's names a lot easier! I highly recommend them, book them and you won't regret it - but stock up on good tea/coffee and biscuits, as these guys work bloody hard and deserve it!

The tiler who came was very professional and had an incredible eye for detail. The job took a little longer than expected but this was due to all of the bathroom hardware already being in place (the house was a new build), making cutting the tiles slightly more challenging. But I was very impressed with his effort to make each tile fit as well as possible and didn't cut corners by using grouting to fill in gaps from irregular tile placement.

Sam and his team delivered a significant and complex refurbishment of our Victorian house in Cheltenham. The work ranged from a complete replacement of our heating system, re-wiring throughout the house, insulation of our roof along with the replacement of our Victorian tiled hallway and the creation of a new basement exit. During the project Sam's team responded quickly and effectively to changes and upgrades to our requirements in a flexible and creative way - managing several sub-contractors on our behalf throughout the project. We had a problem with our domestic heating boiler... Our contracted service provider messed around on numerous occasions, failed to cure the problem and charged us for every visit. Called Godiva in frustration. They came when they said they would. Did what they said they'd do (when others had failed to resolve the problem). And they subsequently responded without hesitation to resolve a hiccup that was not entirely of their own making.Every member of the team was careful to protect carpets and furniture, extremely pleasant in the way they worked and - above all - they seemed to know what they were doing. It was a level of confidence that we'd not seen from other engineers attempting to restore our heating...

We have used Godiva Build quite a few times over the last few years, most recently installing a downstairs toilet. They have also done a complete bathroom refit for us as well as smaller jobs such as boiler and radiator fixes. They have always been very reliable, turned up when they say they would and always done a quality job. Would highly recommend for jobs of all sizes.
