Welcome to Thornhill Shann, a RIBA nominated construction company. We are a family business, founded by siblings Tom and Chloe Shann. Tom was born to be a builder, studying Construction Management at university, followed by jobs at Mace and ultra high end residential builder, Symm. Chloe started life in the city before deciding she was better suited to life on a building site. Their first hire turned out to be their most important, in the form of Loris Miculi. Loris is a qualified Civil Engineer who cut his teeth building the Bloomberg Building in the city. With Tom and Loris’s building expertise and Chloe’s eagle eye for detail and handling of the numbers, they have all bases covered. We have three teams made up of around twenty directly employed builders ranging from carpenters to brick layers. We like to have between four and six jobs running at any one time. Our black book of sub-contractors who we use for specialist finishes from hard wood joinery to marble installation has been refined over the years so that we only use people we know and trust. We are passionate that the journey we embark on with our clients to turn a vision into reality is both enjoyable and satisfying.
