The Project

For over 90 years this building was the site of Woolworths where you purchased vinyl records, pick and mix and so much more! In 2016 Arena took the lease and with the support of many generous people we have refurbished a tired looking building into a place we hope will once again become a local treasure! The Project has a vision to use the past rubble of old lives, buildings and materials to build anew - to bring hope! Everyone and everything deserves a second chance. Much of the merchandise has been repaired and recycled and all profit will go to serve the community. Everybody is somebody at The Project. We work with local business people as well as with those who feel disqualified, disenfranchised and those with a past. This store not only supplies quality goods but it's a place where we train and provide employment for many.
