Roy Kemp established his building business in the 1950's; the company grew rapidly, becoming incorporated in 1969 and continues today under the management of his son Garry. We remain a privately owned company committed to providing a reliable service to our private and commercial customers. Residential work comprising of Houses, Extensions and Barn Conversions has always been a large part of our work; in fact we have constructed over 1000 new houses, hundreds of domestic extensions and dozens of barn conversions & apartments – we therefore feel we have a wealth of experience we can bring to any building project. As well as residential work, we are also experienced in fire & flood insurance work, grant work, commercial and retail refurbishment. While we have the knowledge and experience to undertake large projects, please do not think we do not welcome smaller jobs too – our “construction services” page shows some of our simpler projects such as extensions and domestic alterations. We enjoy working on historic & listed buildings and are able to undertake sympathetic restorations using traditional methods and materials. We also have extensive experience creating contemporary homes & interiors and are equally comfortable working in both modern and traditional styles.
